This city is a hidden jewel – get there before the rest of the world realizes what they are missing! The city is bisected by the Danube River, separating the Buda side from the Pest side. Buda is home to Buda Castle, the Fishermen’s Bastion, St-Matthias Church and Gellert Hills historic thermal spring swimming pool. Pest is where you will find Heroes Square, the Opera, the beautiful Parliament, the pedestrian shopping street and St. Stephen’s Basilica. Outside the city centre you will surely want to visit the showrooms of the truly spectacular Schönbrunn Palace, the summer residence of the Habsburg family. Vienna is the place to be for stunning operas and classical concerts. The monuments and buildings are so colorful, architecturally interesting and unique that you will feel like you stepped into a painting. Don’t miss the Municipal House, Wenceslas Square, the National Museum and Old Town Square. Admire the Tyn Church and the famous Astronomical clock. Visit Prague Castle and take a walk on Charles Bridge across the Vltava River. An excursion can take you outside the city to Cesky Krumlov, a beautiful medieval town, and Karlovy Vary, a famous thermal spa destination.
